Teresa Pelliccio

Artist Teresa Pelliccio (DeVito) is a painter, filmmaker, restaurateur; co-owner of DeVito's of Eureka Springs and the mother of three grown daughters.

In 2007, Teresa Pelliccio made a 15-day trek across the state of Arkansas  picking up litter as a way to raise environmental awareness. Interior decorating, architecture, color, shape and texture have always captivated her. Since moving to the artist mecca that is Eureka Springs, Pelliccio has delved deeper into her creative urges and enjoys an ever increasing audience. By experimenting with allegoric processes, she develops forms based on personal associations and merges elements of spirituality, intuition and rebellion with femininity, whimsy and impulse.

Teresa Pelliccio enjoys all things creative and is the Co-founder and Director of the Eureka Springs Indie Film Fest.  Set in a unique mountain art town in Northwest Arkansas, the Eureka Springs Indie Film Fest promotes and encourages independent filmmakers of all ages and celebrates the art of filmmaking in it's community and beyond. Eureka Springs Indie Film Fest features independent films that inspire, enlighten and entertain.

"Most of my paintings are unplanned and come from following my intuition, letting my heart and hands guide me. I enjoy painting women, fashion, spiritual beings and whimsical still-life. I love painting with palette knives and my hands.  Free time favs are painting, filmmaking, gardening, cooking, watching films and hanging out with my cats."  Teresa Pelliccio
